Located 15 minutes from downtown Parker at Swift Creek Equestrian Center. We specialize in the training and showing of rare and incredibly beautiful breed of horse called the American saddlebred. We also teach lessons to beginning riders on all types of horses. At Parker Valley Farm we teach a traditional style of English riding known as Saddle Seat. Saddle Seat is the basis of all riding types.
Many of our riders compete in horse shows. Some do so on a National and International level. However many of our riders do not have the goal of showing. They are riding for the pure enjoyment and pleasure of becoming a partner with a horse. We strive to provide a fun filled and family friendly environment for both types of riders. At Parker Valley Farm and School of Horsemanship we feel it is important for the young and old horse lovers to learn there is much more to horsemanship than riding. We feel that part of the partnership between horse and rider is also learning to care for these grand animals. Along with learning to ride our riders will also learn how to groom them, tack them, properly cool them down as well as how to safely handle them in all situations.

Our first goal in teaching is to keep our riders safe. Our second goal is to make every riders experience fun and enjoyable. Our third goal is to help our riders achieve their own personal horsemanship goals, whatever they may be.
Our youngest riders are 4 years of age. All of our beginner riders start learning in private lessons, which are 30 minutes of riding time. The cost is $40. as our riders advance they can move into small groups of 3-4 riders. The cost is the same, however the riding time is a little longer.
We teach Mon -Fri Afternoons and evenings and Sat & Sun Afternoons.
