Midwest offers a complete schedule of 130 classes for Saddlebreds, Hackney Ponies and equitation, including UPHA Classics, qualifying classes for all the equitation finals and academy classes. The Five Gaited Pleasure Stake has been designated a Grand National Class.

The Denver Queen City Horse Show is a United States Equestrian Federation “A” rated show, featuring the Colorado American Saddlebred State Championships, Colorado American Saddlebred Futurity, and Centennial State Regional Peruvian Championships. The horse show awards over $5,000.00 in total prize money. An exhibitor’s party is offered Friday night with games for all ages, a pot luck dinner, and live entertainment!! The show benefits the American Cancer Society and HorsePower.

Be a part of the world’s richest and most prestigious show! This exciting and prestigious event, held annually in conjunction with the Kentucky State Fair, crowns world champion Saddlebreds in different divisions each year. The show attracts people from all across the country and the world including more than 2,000 horses competing for over $1 million in awards.

Our American Saddlebred show will run from Wednesday, September 25th until Sunday, September 29th. We are honored to host five National Championship Events for Shatner Finals for American Saddlebred Western Pleasure horses, Hunter Pleasure horses and the Pleasure Equitation Medallion Finals for young riders. Plus, this year we’re pleased to host the American Saddle Horse Association (AHSA) National Pleasure Equitation Championship. And we again look forward to the exciting R.S. Palmer Memorial $5,000 Five-Gaited Jackpot Stake which is always a highlight of Saturday evening’s schedule featuring some of the best five-gaited horses in the nation.

Nothing can match the fire and brilliance of the Saddlebred Horse! The American Royal is once again honored to be hosting the UPHA (United Professional Horseman’s Association) National Championship. The very best Saddlebreds, Hackney Ponies, and Road Horses from UPHA chapters throughout the country will come to Kansas City to compete for more than $200,000 in prize money and the prestige of being national champions.  Be sure to attend The National Championship Stake Night (Saturday Night), where the competition comes to an exciting climax as National Champions are crowned in 14 Classes. The final class will be the $50,000 Five Gaited National Championship.
